May 2014 Newsletter

Dear All,

I hope you are well.

It was nice to see regular and new faces at our AGM last December. We look forward to seeing you at our summer Fish and Chip Supper and Quiz.

As work is ongoing with organising events for our centenary in 2015, we are holding just two meetings this year - the Fish and Chip supper in May and our AGM and Christmas Social in December.

During 2014, we will be spreading the news of our Estate and selling souvenirs at both Well Hall Pleasaunce Fund Days and the Army Day in the Woolwich Barracks so come and see us.

If you would like to become involved in any of these, please contact me.

Our website has been a great success and we are hoping to expand this soon.

We are always open to suggestions to make the work of the committee appropriate to ongoing needs of the Estate. If you have some ideas and would like to be involved please contact me at rita.bygrave@btinternet.com

Up-to-date news can only be sent by Email, Facebook or Twitter

Newsletters always coincide with public meetings. Thus our next issue is likely to be December’s, which will announce our Christmas Social and AGM. It will also publicise events to mark our centenary in 2015.

Nowadays, we provide information of interest, as it occurs, by email, Facebook and Twitter. So far over two hundred people have provided us with their email addresses. It would be great if everyone else on the Estate who has an email address would do likewise.

Do we have your correct email address?

If you have given us your email address, but not received a copy of this Newsletter by email:

Please check that it has not gone to spam, add our email address TheProgressEstate@gmail.com to your contacts list.

Send it to us again at TheProgressEstate@gmail.com

Setting up our list involved a certain amount of retyping, so inevitable, the odd error is likely to have occurred
