VE Anniversary Celebration

With social distancing rules in place, the Estate residents celebrated and remembered VE Day in front gardens, decorating houses with Union Jacks and other paraphernalia.
The sun shone for the Bank Holiday Friday. Wartime music could be heard from behind wooden fences, together with the chink of china cups and popping corks.
The spirit of the celebrations of 75 years ago was definitely evoked.  Well done to all those who participated!

The Rainbow Windows of The Progress Estate

In these dark and unusual times, The Progress Estate residents have pulled out all the stops and decorated their houses with colour, good wishes and rainbows.

On Easter Sunday, my family and I walked every road in the estate to capture this moment in time for prosperity and to celebrate our special community.  @jamesgarner
