Phil Burkett @PhilBurkett shared this find recently of an early advertisement for houses on the Progress Estate (date unknown). It states that the Estate is close to "Eltham station" and "Trams Nos. 46 and 72 pass through the Estate". It also advises that some of the houses have "...room for a Garage" and have "Modern Conveniences" House prices also range between £500 - £750, with only a £25 deposit. Those were the days eh?
