The Progress Estate and Gordon School hosts the BBC's "Any Questions?" Radio 4 programme
The Progress Residents’ Association and Gordon Primary School in Eltham SE9, invited BBC Radio 4’s “Any Questions” to present a political debate and discussion from the School.
So on the 17th April 2015, Sadiq Khan (Labour), Mark Reckless (Ukip), Liz Truss (Conservative) and Humza Yousaf (SNP) joined host Jonathan Dimbleby for a lively and topical pre-election broadcast with a highly engaged audience.
The broadcast commenced with Jonathan Dimbleby stating from the outset that “...Eltham is the best kept secret in South London”, which raised an approving applause from audience!
We caught up with the Headmaster of Gordon School Jason Taylor, Jonathan Dimbleby, Progress Residents’ Association (and organiser of the event) Keith Billinghurst, Former Mayor of the London Borough of Bexley Graham Holland, and Amanda Black (teacher at Gordon School who asked the final question of the evening).
