It’s panto
time again – oh yes it is, so bring your dancing slippers to go to the ball
with CINDERELLA!
It is a classic ‘rags to riches’ fairy
story. It tells the tale of CINDERELLA,
daughter of Baron Stoneybroke.
The Baron
has fallen on hard times after his two step daughters have racked up huge
shopping bill debts. Cinderella is
bullied by her two step sisters but supported by Buttons, the last servant in
the house. Behind the scenes, the evil
demon King, aided by his two inept henchmen, is trying to get his hands on a
magic pendant belonging to the Baron’s family.
Cinderella
is in the forest collecting firewood when she meets the handsome Prince Charming,
and they fall in love at first sight. With
the help of her Fairy Godmother, Cinderella goes to the ball, where rushing
away at midnight as the magic begins to fade, she leaves behind a shoe….
